Welcome to Shibui Services
We know that everyone in our community has the right to live a life free from harm, and regardless of people’s differences and individualisms, to be treated with dignity and respect.
Shibui was founded by Emily and Brigette who identified many gaps in the system, that were placing people with disability at an increased risk of abuse, with a lack of specialised wrap around services to help.
Shibui was then established to address these gaps by assisting those fleeing abuse or in crisis who are living with disability or suspected disability.
Our Vision
is for people living with disability to:
- live a life free from harm
- have the freedom and confidence to choose what their life looks like
- have inclusive access to safe services to support them during a crisis
